We have now successfully started an outpatient intravenous and intramuscular therapy service on site. Treatments offered include:
- Antibiotics
- Fluids
- Iron replacement therapy
- Analgesics
- Anti-emetics
- Vitamins
- Anti-allergy medications
- Osteoporosis therapy
The list of available medications is growing all the time, and can be adjusted depending on the needs of the patient.
In time, we have plans to add a palliative care aspect by acquiring equipment able to deliver continuous subcutaneous drug infusions. These are designed to relieve distressing symptoms at the end of life.
