Oaklands Medical Practice was set up in March 2017 by Dr Khalill Peeroo following his return from the United Kingdom after 17 years of study and training.
Given the status of the UK National Health Service (NHS) as one of the foremost healthcare systems in the world, the vision was to create a patient-centred health clinic in its image to serve the local population, with particular emphasis on professionalism, quality of care, and patient choice.
It was felt that there was a dire need to incorporate the latest medical knowhow and technology in local healthcare provision, based on sound evidence-based medicine. The practice therefore aims to offer a comprehensive, one-stop shop to cater for the needs of its patients.
We appreciate constructive feedback and patients can guide our service development to cater for their needs. The aspiration is that the local population can have a world-class medical service within easy reach and at affordable cost.
